Job Description

The successful candidates will be responsible for documentation and support for a broad range of project types as it relates to BIM design and execution. This involves working in multidisciplinary, collaborative design and construction teams.
Responsibilities
Duties (Include, but are not limited to):
- Creating, updating, and managing 3D BIM models across different disciplines utilizing Autodesk
- Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks software.
- Review 2D and 3D CAD files for use in creating and maintaining BIM models.
- Organize and maintain all 3D model files. Conduct clash detection exercises utilizing 3D
software as part of collaboration efforts in delivering working 3D BIM models and shop
drawings.
- Work collaboratively with clients and colleagues in providing intelligent BIM services and
products as required by specific project scopes of work.
- Draft and create construction documents, backgrounds, title blocks, coordination notes and
details utilizing Autodesk Revit.
- Assist with development and drawing of design details, plans, sections and notes
independently and from verbal and written direction.
- Gatekeeper of all incoming and outgoing model and drawing information as pertaining to each
specific project scope.
- Manage models and drawings to ensure proper QA/QC protocols are implemented.
- Work across disciplines to ensure an overall design fits together and works with coordination
team solutions to ensure overall design satisfies each discipline’s individual requirements.
- Recording and organizing of progress files, email correspondence, design alterations and
project status. Printing, plot and scanning of various project plans and drawing data as required.
Qualifications
- Experience in 3D CAD and BIM field desired, especially in MEP systems.
- Commercial construction knowledge and experience is highly valued, but not required.
- Proficient working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Navisworks.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret construction drawings.
- Be able to consistently provide highly accurate and detailed drawings.
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Must be able to communicate fluently and comprehensively in English.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, Sketchup, Sysque, Solidworks, Inventor, Rhino,
etc. is a plus.
- Hard-working, motivated, and professional demeanor and conduct.
- Must be a self-starter and be willing to take on multiple tasks and MEP coordination projects
both large and small.
- Communicate clearly with Project Manager in person, via phone calls and email.
- Clearly document all modeling work and report to supervising PM.
- Autodesk or other CAD Training certifications a plus.
