Manager Trainee / Production Worker

Job Description
Wage $13-$15 Hour DOE ---- Production Worker $12 Hour
We are looking for an experienced individual with production experience for the following. The Trainee learns and helps implement the plans of the shop, directs, coordinates and implements all warehouse policies/procedures for a volume warehouse and production operation consisting of multiple customers. The trainee will help foster the company culture in the department and thus the facility and in the future direct daily activities by utilizing the elements of Standard Operating Systems to optimize safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service levels in accordance with our company’s Guiding Principles. For the right candidate with on the floor training, working with co-workers and Shop Foreman be tutored to work into leadership and carryout the following responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Production Worker and Trainee
• Lifting and moving 5ft x 8ft lightweight foam boards and use table saws, panel saws and other equipment to cut and shape into customer specifications. Other duties include the use of packaging equipment, printing and lamination of products
• Repetitive lifting and carrying items up to 35 pounds and occasionally heaver items

• Exposure to the use of Six Sigma, Lean and other quality tools to evaluate and implement continuous improvement in the operation is a plus.
• Experience with Production and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Some business education preferred.
Physical Demands
Frequent lifting of 35-75 lbs.
