Summary:

Implement a marketing and sales strategy for one or more of the organisation's more complex, controversial, or strategically significant products/services in order to meet established sales or market share targets.

Job Details:

The Product Marketing Specialist will drive compelling product and feature marketing, market and industry research, create go to market strategies, and setup Open Edge sales teams for success through training and enablement. This is a highly collaborative role, and requires working in close partnership with Product Management, other marketing functions, Sales, and other internal stakeholders to drive success.

* Prepares marketing strategies and programs for products. Interfaces with project, product managers and partners to determine the product's future direction.

* Conduct market research, including market surveys that support our product positioning, marketing, and product development.

* Monitor and analyze the integrated payments competitive landscape and work with PMD to provide thought leadership regarding strategy and education to relevant stakeholders throughout the company.

* Works with internal teams and partners to identify marketing asset needs and create content.

* Understand, refine and clearly articulate compelling messaging, differentiation and positioning the OpenEdge platform and products. Ensure consistency of messaging internally, as well as with all external communications.

* Partner closely with Product Management to develop and understand product strategy, functionality, and develop messaging and positioning.

* Develop and manage product marketing content and collateral including Sales tools, Sales training materials, Brochures, White papers, Videos, Blogs, Social Content, Webcasts, Customer success stories, etc.

* Ensure accuracy and timeliness of content in marketing communications through rigorous quality control, proofing and data checking.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

* 3-5 years in payments or B2B financial technology product marketing with demonstrable results and achievements.

* Knowledge of financial services and technology industry products and practices. Experience in Integrated Payments, E-Commerce space is a plus.

* Savvy and creative individual with an exceptionally strong strategic mindset and bias towards execution.

* Strong marketing background and ability to set marketing strategy, messaging and campaigns.

* Ability to identify and quantify opportunities, benefits, and demands coming from multiple sources inside and outside the company.

* Ability to translate difficult payment processing concepts for various audiences.

* Solid reading comprehension and critical thinking abilities to analyze and understand a large amount of information draw conclusions and recommend the right approach.

* Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to concisely communicate key issues/results in a manner appropriate to the audience, including the executive level

* Ability to build relationships with and influence other functional areas as well as external entities.

* Thought leadership among peers on direction, issues and initiatives related to brand, marketing, partner and merchant acquisition and engagement

* Strong project ownership, decision making, relationship management, conflict resolution, and problem solving skills.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (or equivalent) products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook and Visio.
