Job Summary
Ensures the maximum effectiveness of the sales force by developing and implementing training programs.
Essential Functions
:Designs and delivers training sessions on company products, business practices, and other topics as needed.
:Monitors and reports on the effectiveness of training programs and may conduct initial needs analysis.
:Identify, provide and execute on retail marketing tools to assist in various pull through strategies provided by headquarters, but be able to recognize and communicate back best practices to assist in developing the various marketing tools for the stores.
:Own the marketplaces where Blendtec does business by finding more opportunities to distribute and market the product in an effort to build the brand in those marketplaces.
:Accomplishes sales strategies by determining sales team accountabilities; communicates and enforces company values, policies and procedures; maintains an active involvement with recruitment of sales personnel as well as the training and mentoring of sales personnel. Participation in activities to monitor, appraise, and review performance contributions of sales personnel is expected.
:Improves cost efficiency by strict cost management.
:Oversees the development, implementation and continual improvement of processes and procedures to provide timely, cost:effective and efficient sales and service.
:Provides timely feedback and information to sales support and sales management.
:International and domestic travel is required. 75 or more travel is expected.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
:Fluent in French, Spanish, Japanese or Korean.
:Has knowledge of commonly:used concepts, practices, and procedures within the sales training field.
:Strong record of achieving goals, achieving or exceeding quotas, with demonstrated ability to effectively train and work in international markets.
:Ability to work well in different cultures and adapt to regional training styles.
:Technology savvy : ability to learn software and technology platforms quickly. Possess an advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
:Strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and acute attention to detail.
:Superior public speaking and training skills.
:Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and handle shifting priorities. Desire to work in an international business environment.
:Superior coaching and development skills with a proven track record for developing and training sales personnel.
:Comprehensive knowledge of operations, processes, and business implications.
:Sound judgment and decision:making.
:Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
:Ability to work independently and execute assigned tasks.

Education/ Experience
Ideal candidate possesses a bachelors degree in a related area and 2:5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
