Job brief
Dreams Carports is seeking for a competitive Dealer/Sales representative to develop network strategies and attract new Dealers. Our sales professionals go to work each week in different cities in the 14 different states that we cover, seeking out the leading business owners. Because we can qualify to virtually any business in town we aren’t limited to a single industry. This allows us to work with the most respected businesses in town. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing our coverage area by managing and negotiating with new and existing Dealers, qualifying potential prospect dealers and managing and providing maintenance to our advertising items. As an outside sales representative, or sales agent, you will also research dealer/sales competition.

Responsibilities
What the job entails:
• “Get new Dealer” (business door-to-door method)
• Our Dealer Rep., travels 2-3 nights per week, sometimes up to a straight 2 weeks per month
• You will go out with the goal of signing one or two local businesses as a new Dealer per city (depends on the population size)
• We build and maintain a protected territory with an opportunity to renew Dealers contracts year after year.
• Evaluate Dealer skills, needs and build productive long lasting relationships
• Meet personal and team sales targets
• Research accounts and generate or follow through Dealer leads
• Report and provide feedback to management with statistical data
• Maintain and expand Dealer database within your assigned territory on a weekly basis

Qualifications
Requirements
• 21 years old +
• Familiarity with different sales techniques
• Computer use competency
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and driven
• 3+ nights per week overnight travel
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High moral character and ethical conduct
• Proven history of success
• THREE (3) years VERIFIABLE outside sales experience
