Job DescriptionJob Summary: In a very comfortable and fast-paced call center environment, VivintA cents € (TM) s Customer Care Reps answer inbound calls from customers across the country and help them understand/troubleshoot their home security and home automation systems over the phone.Abbreviated list of benefits: A free meal for every 8 hours worked, fantastic work facilities, paid time off, paid holidays, health benefits, 401K and much more!Pay:$13.50 per hourCustomer Care has a structured pay scale based on tenure and performanceBilingual Spanish representatives earn a $.50/hr increase after training.Essential Functions/Responsibilities:Provide technical and customer support via telephone for inbound callsDevelop extensive knowledge of Vivint.SmartHome's varied product line and installation processesEducate customers on the use of Vivint.SmartHome systems and productsUse Vivint.SmartHome Knowledge Management System to troubleshoot varying degrees of technical support problems for customersCreate service tickets for issues not able to be resolved over the phoneAccurately record customerA cents € (TM) s technical issuesAnswer customerA cents € (TM) s billing questions/concernsProficient communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to solve unique technical problemsMust be able to multi-task while using different internal programsAbility to communicate clearly with customers while providing step-by-step instructions for understanding/fixing their system over the phonePassion for providing quality customer serviceAbility to envision product scenarios in order to help customers solve problemsMust feel comfortable with de-escalating phone callsAbility to adapt to system/process changes quickly while retaining new informationMust be able to work four weekdays and one weekend shiftMust have 100% attendance during the 3 week trainingAbility to adhere to a strict attendance/punctuality policyRequired Experience:Ability to get licensed for the Utah Burglar Alarm SystemsAbility to successfully pass background checkMust be at least 18 years old (per IndustryA cents € (TM) s requirement)Must be able to commit to 6 months in the departmentHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred but not requiredCall center experience preferred but not required6+ months of customer service experience preferredVivint Smart Home is an equal opportunity employer, does not consider any protected traits (eg race, creed, color, religion, gender, national origin, non-job-related disability, age, or any other protected trait) when hiringA cents € "under federal, state and local laws.
