Job Description Call Center Customer Care Financial Specialist (Lindon, UT) Job Summary: In a very comfortable and rapid-paced call center environment, Vivint’s Customer Care is looking for a dynamic high energy Billing Specialist that can handle a wide variety of tasks; answer inbound calls from customers across the country, and help them understand/resolve their billing concerns, handling payments, issuing invoices and updating customer payment information to ensure a solution is achieved. This will be a Tier 1 position. Part-time and full-time positions are available Monday through Friday from 7:00am-7:00pm and Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm. The pay for this position is $11 an hour. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Provide customer support via telephone for inbound calls Develop knowledge of Vivint Smart Home's varied product line Educate customers on the use of Vivint Smart Home systems and products Create service tickets for issues not able to be resolved over the phone Accurately record customer’s issues Answer customer’s billing questions/concerns Proficient communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to solve unique financial problems Must be able to multi-task while using different internal programs Ability to communicate clearly with customers to help them understand their billing related issues over the phone Passion for providing quality customer service Willingness to follow-though with customers for an effortless customer experience Ability to help customers solve problems Must feel comfortable with de-escalating phone calls Ability to adapt to system/process changes quickly while retaining new information Must be able to work four weekdays and a Saturday shift Must have 100% attendance during the 2 week training Ability to adhere to a strict attendance/punctuality policy Required Experience: Ability to get licensed for the Utah Burglar Alarm Systems Ability to successfully pass background check Must be at least 18 years old (per Industry’s requirement) Must be able to commit to 6 months in the department High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required Call center experience preferred but not required 6+ months of customer service experience preferred Vivint Smart Home is an equal opportunity employer, does not consider any protected traits (eg race, creed, color, religion, gender, national origin, non-job-related disability, age, or any other protected trait) when hiring—under federal, state and local laws.
