IT Systems Technician

Job Description
The IT Systems Technician is responsible for configuration, management, and support of Windows/Mac computers, enterprise point-of-sale system administration, and providing general help desk support to the organization. Aside from being a part of the magic that is FatCats, you will be a part of a fast-paced, solution-focused team that values innovation and results. You will work with the incredible staff in our centers as well as members of our support team to troubleshoot and solve technology-related problems.
Provide technology support/help desk services to the organization
Point-of-sale system daily administration
Manage point-of-sale system upgrades, configuration updates, and promotional setup
Collaborate with appropriate teams to improve point-of-sale processes and workflows
Provide helpdesk service for point-of-sale devices, computers, and other technology equipment
Actively manage support request tickets, completing requests
Implement data security policies as related to employee devices and point-of-sale devices
Manage and troubleshoot third-party integrations to the POS
Submit feature requests and support tickets to vendor support teams as needed
Create and maintain documentation supporting key processes and procedures
Provide on-site technical support as needed in center locations
Assist with other IT projects as directed
Approve and submit IT related Invoices such as Managed Service Agreements/Equipment Leases/Phone and Internet
Purchase and/or Install IT related equipment such as computers, monitors, switches and wireless access points.
Run and terminate new Cat5E/Cat6 cabling as needed
Oversee Security Camera (CCTV) repair/maintenance and installation
Main point of contact for managed services company CR&T. As well as review and follow up with each help ticket sent to CR&T
Main point of contact for phone company Fonality. Follow up with help related tickets.
Main point of contact for Comcast/Century Link/Veracity Internet providers
3+ years of tech support or help desk role preferred
Associates degree with an IT related emphasis, or job experience equivalent
Excellent communication skills
Positive outlook with the ability to work well in a team-based, fast-paced environment
Analytical mindset and eye for detail
Experience with Point of Sale System support (specifically Toast and Micros) a plus
Experience with Microsoft Office/Office 365
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, wireless networking, and system troubleshooting
Experience with enterprise software solutions and database concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work a variety of hours, including nights and weekends, as well as traveling out of state as needed.
English literacy, Spanish speaking is a plus
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
