Job Description

We are seeking an Entry Level Technical Engineer to join our team! You will resolve computer-related issues for your clients.

This position is of utmost importance to the success of i.t.NOW and our clients. Engineers in this position answer first line calls and service requests. This person will be a powerful communicator and manage difficult and complex client situations that need strong guidance and resolution. This person will be prompt, to the point and know the importance of communicating ETAs to clients. This person will be then able to execute with a sound degree of expertise, confidence, personality and knowledge, enabling i.t.NOW clients to experience our commitment to stellar service.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Good communication with our engineers and management Ability to communicate with client at all levels from IT personnel to CxO's and to understand business issues in context of IT issues Take ownership of tasks and follow through to ensure complete resolution Takes a personal interest in and responsibility for quality of work completed or associated with Ability to pay close attention to detail while performing technically detailed tasks Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations Ability and willingness to recognize when it is necessary to ask for technical expertise from others Ability to provide accurate time estimates for how long a task will take Understand that the success of individuals is measured by the success of their teams Enjoys sharing information, supporting others, and working on a team to achieve team goals and success.

Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
Recommend hardware and software improvements
Track customer issues and resolutions

Qualifications

Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
Ability to build rapport with clients
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Positive and professional demeanor

Minimum 1 year experience - Active Directory Support, Microsoft Windows and Windows Server Support, Microsoft Exchange Support Minimum 1 year experience - Switching/ VLAN/Routing/Firewall Support Minimum 1 year experience - Server Hardware Technologies (CPU, RAID, SCSI) Support Minimum 1 year experience - Data Backup and Recovery Support, Corporate Antivirus Support, VPN Connectivity Support
